The Armenian family of the Sherimann, famous
nobles in Venice, owned it until the end of the 19th Century. Count
Sherimann transformed the palace in a shelter for homeless and poor
orphan children during 1800.
The building has been recently completely renovated inside and
outside, preserving its original architecture.
The hotel is on 3 levels: ground, first and second floors and includes
two magnificent halls and terrace.
Two original Greek columns dating back to the
13th Century and a well adorn the entrance.
